This book covers Factoring and will take you from learning the basic concept of factoring and prime numbers, to doing full factorization trees.
You get 30 pages and 70 practice questions
and
It only takes AT MOST 5 Hours!!!
(Including doing all the practice questions)

Teachers and Parents: there is a companion booklet, FactoringEnrichment, which provides games, activities, discussion questions, and internet resources. Those are arranged according to the book's lessons to provide a better and deeper understanding of the ideas in the lesson, as well as connect it to other mathematical concepts.
Q: I think I know factoring. Didn’t we learn at school some rules about 2 and 3 as factors?
Probably you did learn some rules. But most likely you did not learn all the trick rules, and did not learn how to completely factor a number.
Q: Why do I need to know all the trick rules?
Because it makes your life easier. You will be able to tell in few seconds whether a number is divisible by 11 for example. You will also be able to impress your friends with those tricks.
Q: Why do I need to know full factorization?
Because knowing full factorization helps you with other topics (such as fractions for example). It can also help you solve real life problems (see examples in the book), such as dividing deserts with your siblings
Q: Then why they don’t teach us all that in school?
They may not be aware of all the tricks and generally they think full factorization is hard. But you do need to know factoring in order to be able to do well other type of exercises. It is true that sometimes factoring a number can take a LONG TIME because some numbers are difficult to factor, but the method for factoring is not difficult to learn. I also make sure that the practice questions are not numbers that take a long time to factor.
