At LearningByYourself, we believe in giving back, and we also want to motivate parents and kids to share their successes with their friends. Therefore, we have designed a generous rewards program that gives 30% of the price of each $3 book back to program members. This is how it works:
1. Become a member and get a membership number.
2.Share this website with friends and ask them to enter your membership number as the reference code when they buy a book.
* After logging in, click on the SHARE button to send emails to as many friends as you want. We will provide the text of the email (which you can change) and insert the reference code (your membership number) in the email.
3. Make Money!
a. First Circle: You receive 5% from the purchases your friends make, or 15˘ for each book they buy.
b. Second Circle: You receive 10% from the purchases your friends’ friends make, or 30˘ for each book they buy.
c. Third Circle: You receive 15% from the purchases your friends’ friends’ friends make, or 45˘ for each book they buy.
Q: How much can I make?
That of course depends on how many friends you bring into the program, how many friends your friends bring, and how many friends your friends’ friends bring. Here’s an example.
1. First Circle: You share the website and your membership number with friends and 10 of them buy one book each.
a. You receive 15˘ for each so you make a total of $1.5.
2. Second Circle: Each of your 10 friends share with friends, and 10 friends of each of their friends buy one book each (or 10x10=100 total)
a. You receive 30˘ for each, or $30. Your new total is$31.5.
3. Third Circle: Those 100 friends share the website, and 10 friends of each of the 100 friends also buy one book each. Now 1000 friends have bought 1000 books.
a. You receive 45˘ for each, or $450! Your grand total is $481.5.
Q: How do you know about my friends’ friends and keep track of it?
Let’s say you brought Dan and Dan brought Dina. Dina is your second circle friend. We know it since we know through our database that Dina is Dan’s friend and Dan is your friend. Of course, we will never use this information in any way EXCEPT to provide you and your friends with the appropriate rewards.
Q: How can I recieve the money?
You can collect your earnings once you have accumulated more than $10. There are two ways to do so:
1. If you have a PayPal account, you can deposit the money into that account, and then transfer it to your bank account.
2. You can get a gift card to Amazon.com or Wal-Mart.com.
If you would like to have a certificate from a company other than Wal-Mart or Amazon [which were chosen for their large selections], let us know, and we will try to accommodate you.
Q: How do I know how much I have and ask to redeem it?
After logging in, go to your Account Page. You will see your accumulated rewards and you can then ask to redeem them. We advise new members to wait so that the circles of sharing and buying spread. Of course, if you have more than $10 and want the money – go ahead and redeem it!
Note: Get kids involved! It is a great summer job – easy, and with the potential to make a lot of money. More importantly, you get to help your friends! This is in fact the main reason we designed this program. Just give them your reference code and explain how it works - better yet, get them to learn it by themselves!
